Description
The new 45.2 ton capacity Cat® 745 Articulated Truck improves operator comfort, safety and operating ease. Bonded rear quarter glass in the ROPS eliminates the structural pillar and boosts visibility. Inside the cab, sound levels are 5 dB lower than in the previous 745C.
The Cat® C18 ACERT™ engine, rated at 504 HP (375 kW), meets U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final/EU Stage IV emissions standards. A new economy mode cuts fuel consumption an average of 5 percent when the truck is not required to operate at full payload.
